हे भरत वंश के वंशज! उसने युद्ध में कर्ण को परास्त किया और उसे अपने वश में कर लिया। फिर उसने पहाड़ों में रहने वाले शक्तिशाली राजाओं को हराया।
O king! He then defeated the immensely strong and brave Vāsudeva, the king of Pauṇḍra and the immensely energetic king who dwelt in the marshes along the Kauśikī.

हे महान राजा! फिर उसने वंगा के राजा पर हमला किया। उन्होंने ताम्रलिप्त के राजा समुद्रसेन और राजा चंद्रसेन तथा वंगा के शासक काका को परास्त किया।
